How to practice golf on an actual golf course?
-
I live by a nine hole and the green fee is like 16bucks and all there is, is the course, one practice bunker and a putting green. Is there any way i can practice on the course?
-
Answer:
Pay the fee go on the course and hit 3, 4 or 5 balls each hole, playing them out. It helps when course has little usage. That's how to practice on the course.

I agree with "TEACHER"......however, if you do that, make sure you step off the tee box, fairway or green to let other people play through....our local course is fantastic about doing this. They know my son and I well from playing there and we pay for a regular 9 and play two or three balls when we're practicing......as I said though, BE COURTEOUS, and make sure you clear it with the pro shop first!

Find out when the course is not to busy and go. Get to know the people who work their and ask them where would be a good place to hit. work on approaches and short yardage chips and be ready to wave players through and move your balls of the green if you are practicing putting on a certain green. Hopefully they will be cool with you and allow you to work on your game. Good Luck and remember A well struck ball knows NO wind.....Next best thing is an open field and a bucket of balls and a shag bag also if you hit one and dont like it drop drop another ball and try again as long as you keep pace of play it shouldnt matter

NO YOU CANT PRACTICE GOLF ON A COUSE YOU CAN ONLY PAY AND PLAY. IF THERE ISNT ADRIVE RANGE NEAR FIND AN OPEN SPACE WITH GRASS A FIELD PERHAPS, DONT FORGET TO GET PERMISION TO PRACTICE ON PRIVATE LAND .. GOOD LUCK.

The driving range would be your best bet, but i understand that the driving range can't get you into the regular playing conditions. You need to play on a course where you can practice all of your shots, so I might just sneak onto the course and play like 2 or 3 holes then leave. 16 dollars is expensive for a 9 hole course. Maybe the rates drop during the summer, im not sure, but your best bet would just play like 2 or 3 holes a day and work on your shot

you could ask if you could play a half game they might let you go for half price but most likely no

It's illegal to play and not pay. If you want to practice your golf, Go to the golfing range, It's cheap and they supply the balls.
