How to get numbers from contacts in android?

Yahoo messenger show contacts online on my PC but they show off line and can't get there msg on my android?

I can sent msgs and my contacts get them but i see them offline and i cant see any msg from them , is that a yahoo messenger general problem ? or do i need to do something to fix ...show more

I am having the same issue! So it must be a yahoo issue. I even called my service provider and they attempted to troubleshoot with my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S III.
