Why can't I see incoming or outgoing IMs?

Whay cant i see what others are writing in chat rooms and when i receve IMs?

I can send messiges but cant see them once i do and i still cant see what me or others are writing

You could consider uninstall your current Yahoo! Messenger and download from http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_messenger/. The latest version is Yahoo! Messenger 8.1.0.195. You could also find a list of previous versions of Yahoo! Messenger on the right panel.

I am agree with arun you better reinstall it n Don forget to delete the folder left in your C:\Program Files\Yahoo! it's will fix your problem

Oh no...... That happenned to me! You have a virus in your computer! You need to take out "My Websearch", Yahoo! Toolbar and AOL Toolbar. Get AntiVir, Norton Anti Virus or Spy Bot. But The best is Norton Anti Virus.

I thought you could only see it after you wrote it but I've not done any of that in a while I could be wrong!!!
