I want a new ym name but want to keep my old friends and add then to new list how do i do it plaz give details

I shared my list with my 'new' Yahoo! ID. Here is the help page that helped me: Q: How do I share my Messenger List with other users? A: You can send your Messenger List to other users to help them easily build up their Messenger Lists with friends, colleagues, family members, and co-workers that you have in common. -Open the "Actions" menu, and click "Send My Messenger List" or type the keyboard equivalent, Ctrl+Shift+M. -A dialog box will open where you can specify one or more people to send Yahoo! Messenger contacts to, either by using the default "My Contacts" tab and selecting them from your Messenger List or by clicking the "Other Contact" tab and entering the Yahoo! ID of the person you want to send contacts to. -Click "Next" to choose which contacts to send. The dialog box will now show your Messenger List with a checkbox next to each name so you can select which contacts to send. By default, those receiving your contacts will also see the Yahoo! IDs and names entered in your details for these contacts. Uncheck the checkbox if you wish the contacts to be sent without these names.

IM all your friends from your old ID to let them know your knew ID, and ask that they add your new ID. If there is another way, I don't know it.
