Why can't I join a Yahoo! Group?

Why cant i join any Yahoo group?

    I am having same problem. I also use windows 8.1. My submit button is always grayed out and non-responsive. This is true on both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Also on both browsers the "captcha" section is missing (where you retype a sequence of letters or numbers to verify that you are you). Even more weird is the comments box. On Firefox it was there, but on Internet Explorer it is missing entirely. All the above also applied when I went to a different cooking group to try the join process again. Boy do I hate this new format. Yahoo Groups is done from Down loading yahoo Messenger. Its The Yellow Smiley Face yahoo Messenger. Its Different then the messenger in yahoo mail. After you have the Right messenger Down loaded and working Remember that Messages that are Three to Four Sentences long Works Best not little one or two Sentences Messages. After all that you can open Yahoo Groups and Ask to joint one that you like and you can ask if they know where to reach a group that is more of your entrust.
