How to receive all of a group's archived messages?

Does Yahoo delete messages, archived or not, after a certain time frame or after a certain amount of messages?

  One of the advantages of Yahoo Groups is that they leave all of the functions to the Owner/Moderator and, to a lesser extent, the Member, subject to preset standards that are within the control of the Owner/Moderator. This, of course, is what controls the power to Delete. A Member may delete or edit their own message but only the Owner or Moderators may delete or block messages. Yahoo has a HANDS OFF policy in the administration of Group sites, it has only imposed reasonable limits on Photo Storage and does deleter "attachments" from ther archived messages to conserve bandwidth. But otherwise, sites that I've belonged to as a Member or Owner or Moderator have accumulated tens of thousand of messages and Yahoo has never intervened to delete any of them.
