Something tells me they don't want to be in the Group hosting business anymore!

I wish I knew the answer to this as well. While some of the new group features seem a little more efficient, the overall effect is confusion for me on many levels. Email is already a problem, and I really don't want the dragon as the cover picture, but "changing" it as indicated on the pic itself - lasts about a minute, then it reverts back to the dragon!? What???? No response to my emails to yahoo about this. So frustrating!!!

I'd like to know the answer also. Our dog rescue group is simply crippled right now and we can't keep on waiting. At first many of us were advising patience because we've used Yahoogroups - extensively and quite successfully - for almost 15 years, with occasional glitches that were fixed within a reasonable time. Right now several of our volunteers are working hard to come up with an alternative that will let us continue our work. I don't know why someone doesn't come up with a reliable system and charge something for it. If the cost were reasonable, I'm sure there are many of us who would pay for the vital service. The volunteer looking into Google groups has gotten the furtherst but those of us who get our mail through yahoo mail can't seem to get signed up -- don't know if that's because Google is rejecting us or our own Yahoo mail account is also messed up. The most discouraging thing is that the folks who operate Yahoo haven't even acknowledge that there is a problem - a very bad problem! Well, it was nice while it lasted - I wonder why they decided to sabotage it like this.
