Yahoo groups posting problem?

    I am having the same problem, IT IS NOT MY COMPUTER or ISP!!! Yahoo keeps sending me the same message you guys are getting. I guess until they wake up and realize there is a problem, we will just have to sit back and wait!

I am having the same problem. When I contacted Yahoo to repair it, I was asked to pay a fee of either $99.99 or $49.99. I refused both fees and believe that somebody is trying to profit from a Yahoo problem. If you are unable to post, have your members do so via email. It works just the same. Have a great day!

I am having the same problem as well. I thought it was because this was my first post to this particular Yahoo group but I can see that is not the problem. Mine is also time sensitive so I am anxious to get this message posted.

Best guess is that it's a bug in Yahoo Groups. As a work-around, rather than attempting to post using Yahoo Groups, try sending an email to <group_name>@yahoogroups.com, using the appropriate subject line for the group, with the body of the post in the body of the email.

What's funny is that I tried posting my "what's going on?" question to the Yahoo Group Managers Forum (a Yahoo group) and I got that same Error 999 message. I've contacted Yahoo (not via a Yahoo group, obviously) and so far haven't received a response. It is indeed frustrating to not be able to post in one's own group. The last message posted in my group was 8/22/2012 at 9:17 p.m. Carol
