How to remove a Body Lift form a 2002 Wrangler?

    The poster above is correct on location and removal of the pucks. I personally would NOT use or recommend loctite on these bolts. these bolts like to seize up all on there own so I use antiseize on the bolts and torque them to spec. Also because it was a 3" BL there may have be adjustments made to the shift linkage to correct for binding. This may need to be undone (corrected)

Basically all a body lift is just a set of spacer placed at the points where the body mounts to the frame. Just locate each of these points and remove each spacer. Do one side at a time to keep the body from shifting around and replace the bolts with stock length bolts because the old ones should be to long. There should be brackets on the bumpers that need to be remove to return them to the stock locations. Just do the final bolt torquing when the vehicle is on the ground and use locktite.
