How much does it normally cost to do an engine swap with a 95 Honda Civic?

    ya my 91 crx (basically the same exact thing..) has a jdm b16a and it has about 3 inches if that to the front bumper... you would have to do ALOT of customizing in order to do this.. its not impossible but i think it would cost more to do than the whole civic is worth..

I don't think a v8 would fit in the civics engine bay. My civic has the 1.8 liter i4 and it doesn't have that much space for anything bigger.if its horsepower your looking for, upgrade the engine with tuning chips and bolt ons.plus a v8 would give too much torque for a light car.
