Whats the difference between a nursing diploma and a nursing degree ?
-
Does the degree give a better advantage than the diploma ? Why are there diplomas and degrees in nursing, if both of them provide the gateway to nursing
-
Answer:
I have a diploma. I went to school for three years (33 months).I had some college but not enough for a degree.I wanted to do floor work so I did not go on and get my BS.I must be honest, I had more practical experience than a degree nurse. A degree nurse can work in a hospital, go on and get an advance degree, be a head nurse or an instructor in a nursing school.
