Should I buy a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport?

Are 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Parts compatible with 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac???Int/Ext/Mechanical???

    As the other guy said, thank you for the job for our country. The sport was a two door version on the 1995-2001 Explorer 4 door vehicle. so pretty much the same vehicle, however some door panels and such on the 2001 sport are shared with the sport trac but the underpinnings are still closer to the 4 door (and both sport and sport trac all share major stuff with each other in the way of engine and transmissions) So basically read engine/transmission and body revews of the sport trac and you will get a good idea on the sport of the 2001 MY

1st i would like to take a minute to thank you for your services in keeping a great nation safe from harm and terrorists...come home safe!!! ( God bless you) although i am from Canada...many of my family are USA citizens... to your question.... Yes many of the parts of the same year are compatible with each other...the same transmission is used, the same axles.. the same rims are interchangeable....several things are not though. it can be difficult to determine depending on part however the length of drive shaft is different...due to over all length of the two.
