How long does Xenon last?

How can I tell if headlights in a ford focus st are Bi-xenon AFS headlights and not Adaptive Front Lights?

The Bi-Xenon AFS headlights should be standard in an ST2 but my mate reckons that mine are Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS). Is there any way of checking? because the Xenon lights ...show more

don't know where you got the £500.00 from. look at the bulb if it looks standard you don't have Xenon, Xenon / Gas discharge bulbs are expensive(as used by police vehicles), they have a slight blue tint before turning brilliant white, BMW etc. you can get separate from complete lamp. dealers charge over the top.
