  Organizing a fundraiser is a great learning experience. Sometimes it helps to approach a non-profit organization in your community to help you. These organizatons who are well known in your community and would help immensely to get the public relations out to the community for support. Find out if you have a orgainization called Jaycees in your town. This is a great community service organization to belong to and I am sure they could help you. To find out if there is one in your area go to www.usjaycees.org If you have an organization to back you then it will be easier to find a place to hold your event. Sometime places (example: fire hall or banquet facility) will donate the use of their facility at no charge. Once you find the place to host it you need to ask businesses for donations. Also are you and others cooking the spaghetti or are you having it catered? If one or the other that will also affect where you host it at. Don't be discouraged.
