Honey bee decline???

  • Answer:

In Australia the honey bee is now listed as a threatening species, because of it's rapid colonisation of bushland areas, so it's unlikely they'll go extinct here. If they disappeared from their native areas the effect on flowering plants would be significant, and some species may decline as bees are pollinators and may have established relationships with certain plants which now require their services.
