I think it's great that you're doing something like this. I'd recommend contacting an NGO or a church based group in Liberia. Naturally you want to be sure that your money and supplies are going to a legitimate school! I was in Liberia about three years ago. There are very few schools (few children can afford to go) and supplies are needed badly. Good luck!
