Why is there a need for currency?

Why would the school need to change from currency for school lunches to fingerprint analysis? I filled the pap

There could be several reasons. I t could be to deter theft on school campuses if kids dont have to carry cash. OR it could be to register fingerprints for future use for indetifying criminal activity. OR It could make things move quicker and give kids more time to eat instead of standing in line waiting for others to dig for ther monies. Who knows.
