Can an Electronics and Communication Engineer get a job in big companies like Facebook or Google if he has turned himself into a professional coder and has a lot of knowledge about softwares and computer systems?

Answer:
For Google, my guess is mostly a no because they are highly biased towards students from the department of Computer Science. But there are exceptions. For Facebook, the answer is yes. I am one of them. I don't know about your background but I assume you are a fresh graduate from India. Facebook just conducts 'Ninja' interviews for candidates of this kind which basically means they will just test your coding ability on algorithmic problems. There were 5 interviews (including the coding test) for me. You don't need to be a professional at anything, but just need to know how to code :) It maybe different for other people. This is just an anecdote. Hope this is helpful.
