What kind of steps should I take in order to become a CIA agent?

Get a Master's degree in one of the hard sciences and serve in the military would be two important steps, for starters. Of course, you need a flawless history without any doubts.

First education is key, electronics, law, and math. Many people working at the CIA do not go running around like James Bond (British - MI6 ) Most of them troll over data and need to find what is important in vast collections of information. You need to be able to look very plain. Just someone thinking you are connected could put your safety at risk. A cover story. I just crunch numbers all day so the next budget report can be in on time. Or I take water samples all day. Boring not important stuff.
