Is the India democratic country?

  • The Indian constitution entrusted that the India is a democratic country. But the acts of the politicians are againts the constitution. How the Indian feel? Amend the constitution?

    You picked the politician to sit there in the first place. - you got to live with it. It should not be diverted to the constitution. That's nothing wrong with it. Its the politician who manoeuvre , twist and turn the issue to suit them. there's a lot of money to be made once you reach there , and no one will vacate the seat till death. (*)If you try to amend the constitution , wherby any elected office bearer should serve only 2 terms , you will be shot.

India is a democratic country.Though the politicians are corrupt but least we don't face emergency nor we have bitter elections.The law here is well equipped to protect the constitution.

Name Sake Only......... Democracy means "Government by the people" but present day Indian democracy is "Dictatorship by the Politicians" for their petty gains......... Keeping in view of the mindset of general masses and politicians, it is obvious that India is failed Democratic state where even basic rights of commoners are not protected......
