Chances for getting accepted to college.

What are my chances of getting accepted in a out of state college?

  • Answer:

I got accepted to an out of state college (although chose not to attend because it was too much $) and I would say that if your grades and prerequisite classes meet their standards, then you should be fine. Obviously it depends on the school, but since you will be paying out of state tuition, they actually could want you more than an in-state student because they'll get more money!

Colleges don't look for where yo live ( ok they do but not as part of the evaluation). I 'think' 60% are usually the instate. If you're a good student then go ahead. Also depends on how competitive the college is. Go to collegeboard.com search for the College and you can look for its Stats and cost and all the details. =D

I'm not gonna disagree with the two guys up there. they made it clear. you have to find the college you want to go there and meet the accumulation and if they like your standard than they will accept you but if they don't like your standard like if your grades are low than they won't accept you so each state and each college have a different law and different rules and policy you have to understand them first and agree on something.
