In the US, 4-year colleges and universities offer the same degree - a bachelors degree. Universities also offer masters and PhD programs, but you need to earn a bachelors first if you want one of those, and you can do that at any college or university. Some colleges are better than some universities, and some universities are better than some colleges. Fake colleges and universities are easy to spot; they don't make you take classes.

no it does not matter, if your college is a specialized one, then it is better than a university but if you study a specific topic that university is famous for, then yes for example in British Columbia there is this insituate called BCIT, trades people coming from there gets jobs so sometimes college is better than university depending on the situation s/w

Univerity is like father. Then colleges are kids. Depends on what u wana study. If u want to study arts for ex u would go the kid ( college) that has arts program
