"How to Stop or Kill background Applications permanently in Android 4.1.2 version ? "

Answer:
I'm on 4.3, but the process is essentially the same. There are three ways to stop an app: swipe from recently used, stop the app or just an app's services. A Slap on the Wrist If you swipe away an app from the "Recently Used" selection, it may stop processes or services well enough to overcome bugs or annoying aspects. I'd suggest trying that first. Swipe away the evildoers! For the truly unrepentant Completely stopping an app (including its services) is fairly simple. Here is an example using Cliffhanger (which is actually a great app): Settings > Apps > * > [App] > Force Stop > OK *In this example I use "Downloaded" but "All" will cover system apps (e.g. Camera/Gallery), too, not just ones you've downloaded. "Running" I'll cover next. Settings Find the culprit... Kill it? Fair warning...but isn't it already misbehaving? ...and it's done. For now. Until it starts again on its own. Punishing the naughty Services are background actions (e.g., playing music, syncing, etc.) that can be stopped separately. Settings > Apps > (swipe or tap to) Running > [App] > Stop Swipe over this way and find the memory hog... An app can have many services and processes. This one is used for notifying me when one of my favorite TV shows is coming up. Notice the runtime and memory used. There you have it. I hope that helps you do what you need! If not, it's time to uninstall and contact the developer.
