Have good product knowledge. Be well-prepared to meet your clients or customers. Dress smartly & watch your manners. Present yourself well to leave them a good impression fo you. Speak politely & with confidence. Watch your words, diction & body-language. Have eye-contact while communicating with them. Ask questions to establish better understanding of their needs, and be a good listener. Identify hints during conversation and touch only on what they are really interested in. Never argue with them no matter how but negotiate a win-win solution instead. Always offer to help and provide an alternative if met with difficulty to come to an agreement. Find out from them what is hindering their decision and see if it can be compromised. Seek assistance and support from your superior to work out a solution to clear the hindrance. Get back to them without delay before it's too late. Time is a crucial factor in business and it may costs you a big deal!
