What is it like to get up in the morning and get on the subway in New York City on your way to work?

You can't smoke on the subway, and the coffee helps a little, but not a whole lot. They may look sad, but I don't think a very large percentage are sad or depressed. They're just tired. I know that after a day at work or school, I'm very tired. I hope this information was very helpful.
