What are some street smart rules of moving and living in NYC?

well i go to NYC every other weekend and to be honest it's not as scary as you think. here's the golden rules to remember. 1. if you're walking around, wear comfortable cloths. 2. keep wallet in a safe place. 3. don't walk around alone at night. (it's fine to walk alone in the day, when the sun's still shining). here's where you're wrong. you can't get away with those crimes because there cops and securtiy people everywhere. you don't have to be so cautious of people! trust me there all pretty much friendly. you're not going to see crime in New York CITY... there's alot of securtiy there. the scariest part of NYC is most likely the crowd. lol trust me, it's very big and crossing streets can be diffcult. oh here's a tip... act like you've been to NYC before because *if* by any chance your near a thug, he' won't go after you because you're street smart. hope i helped! trust me it's not that bad! have fun! If your going to NYC don't worry about it and have fun.
