How do you wire 2 subs to a mono amp with specific ohm settings?

You're going to want to wire your two subs in parallel. This will result in a 2-ohm load at the amplifier. Here's a diagram: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/graphics/Support/Tutorials/wiring_images/SVC_Parallel_2.gif

google "rockford fosgate wiring wizard". it has almost ALL wiring options for amps and speakers. going parrell is what you want for youre subs. or you could go just one sub for all the wattage.
