What do i need for a good car sound system setup?

    Hi, no need to spend crazy money! I did mine myself and it picks up compliments everywhere. Basis sound system- 1.) Good head unit (CD, USB and Aux Cable) 2.) Get two 6x9 speakers on the parcel shelf 3.) Get a nice, solid sub for the boot. 4.) Get a large amp or one built into the sub 5.) Tweeters are small but they work wonders! Consider 2nd hand parts. You can upgrade and add things in time. This would be a very basic but cheap setup. In addition you could easily wire this on your own with no prior experience using Google and YouTube!

so first to run a good system, buy a second battrey , and swap your headunit out to a more powerfull one, id buy 300 watt speakers with 3 ways in the back and sub speakers in front doors and tweeter on dash (forget what these speakers are caleld they are amazing and loud as f^%$, id go with poineer or some good brand dont get crappy wal mart ones go big or go home!, then id buy a mono amp for the subs and il get a 1000 watt amp and 2 kenwood subs in a ported box and put them in your trunk or you could buy a 5 channel amp and hookup all your speakers to it and your sub, if you go with the mono buy a amp for your speakers IT WILL MAKE HELL A LOT OF DIFFERENCE AND CLAIRTY OR YOUR SPEAKERS THEY WILL HAVE FULL POTIENTAL AND KICK AND SAKE YOUR CAR WITHOUT EVEN SUBS, and id swap out all the factory wire for better quality wires for the speakers and buy a 1000 watt amp kick for both amps unless you go witha very powerfull 5 channel amp, hook them both up to your battrey and hook th battrey up to the one up front so thatit charges it also! and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD GRONDIN GPOINT put it o bare metal ad bolt it there , after that you should have a amazing setup , goodluck!

Annoy people??? How rude of you!!! I hope to hell you get a ticket for a noise violation. Besides guys who have a "system" are using it make up for their shortcomings in a different area.

headunit, speakers, amp, battery, housing, plus install. not to mention install costs. youre looking at around 2 grand at least. depending entirely on quality.
