What kind of speakers should I get for my car?

    I would look at Pioneer, they have good value for the price...You are probably going to be satisfied with an amp that will produce about 50 watts RMS per side and speakers that handle that much power, but also remember that RMS is not the same as peak power ratings...as for your sub-woofer I would get two 10 inch subs and power them with about 225 watts...that is going to be plenty loud without breaking the bank

And almost forgot about explaning what a woofer is! The higher the watt the better. It depends what you can afford. Sub woofers are basucally ther boom you hear when bass hits. If you get a 10' or 12' sub or subs you will need amplifier(s). I have one 12' J.L Audio sub woofer in my trunk and 1200 watt amp and I blow away systems that have multiple 12's or even e a 15'. J.L Audio for sure
