How to hook car amp/sub in home?

Can i hook up my car system in my home? like with a car battery or somethin?

    yes you can just hook everything up the way it is in your car the only thing is that the yellow and red wire from your stereo will be connected to your positive post of the battery along with the power wire fro your amp and the ground will be connected to the negative post of your battery for speakers you can use any just connect them to your stereo and connect the subs to your amp but if they arent in a enclosure(box) then they aint going to sound good so you need the box ok and then just rock on buddy it will be loud no matter what good luck

get converter at radio shack or any electronics store.it converteyour house current to your car current.doing it with a battery is a hassle and you have to buy connections

if you have a 12 v power supply you can power your amps with that ,and plug your rca jacks to the back of your home radio

YOU CAN BUY A DC CONVERTER AND REWIRE THE SYSTEM IN YOUR HOUSE. HOWEVER IT WILL NOT SOUND GOOD BECAUSE THE OPEN SPACE

Yes, but you'd probably blow the speakers. This is because in your car, the volume fills the small space...which your speakers are made for. In your home, it has a lot more open area and you'd have to CRANK it to get the same affect, and it won't be nearly as crisp.
