What amp can I get for my Jetta?

Do my car speakers have to be the same watts as everything else in my car like the amp ot subs?

    i say you neet a JBL speackers with a nominal power of 100w taht goes till 300w get 4 of thouse a subwoofer JBL that goes from 250w rms--->1000w and a JBL amplifier 4 ohm 200w 2 ohm 300w it should be enough!!! belive me:))

Match the rms output of the amp at the rated 2 or 4 ohms load to the sub/subs. For example: One 12"@ 4ohm vc 200watts rms. The amp you get should be around 200 watts rms with a 4ohm load. The 12volt.com has plentiful info.

no. See the recommendations that come with your deck then but speakers and an amp that fits those requirements. If you want a great sounding system go for component speakers in the front and back. As for speaker watts anything 60w and above is good...as for the amp 400w is good...bass speakers a single 12" with dual voice coil all will work together nicely, Good Luck

No. Your wattage on your speakers has no correlation to the rest of your system.

I would go with at least 10% over the amp rating. If not, the bass of a deep beat will blow them.
