    Don't be scared...yes it is worriful to think about how it will go on your own because you always spend time with someone on holidays but it's all part of the adventure and challenging yourself to go somewhere on your own. It will be a test for you and see if you can cope! Hawaii sounds great...just relax and enjoy the part of life where you are on your own away from everyone! Yes go and take yourself on vacation and have fun.. Don't tell anyone that you are alone.. Always act like your relative is along with you but in the room or something like that.. that is just a safety tip..

I did, just after my divorce a long time ago. I went to the East coast to a Bed & Breakfast and spent a week there. It was on the beach and very private. I didn't realize how bad I needed that time to myself. It was great !!!
