Go to Indonesia, everything's cheap here. with 7000 euros you don't have to work your *** for a living for 6 months.

I can only speak about the TEFL side of things, but most jobs require a degree and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate to get a visa and work. The TEFL certificate can be taken either in-house or online at your own pace which is a much cheaper option (see http://icalweb.com). The good news is that if you have a TEFL Cert but no degree and are in the country looking for work, then there's a good chance you might find something.

Come to Australia! haha I'm being bias but I can tell you about Australia. At the moment 7,000EU is equivalent to about $14,000 AUD so I would say that's plenty if you're looking at back packing and not a huge spender. I would definitely come in Summer, or late spring (if you're a European that can't handle the heat) as it just makes the Aussie experience so much better. I would say Australia doesn't have the most amazing cities or buildings, but its more the weather, people and different life style- so if it's the big cities you're looking for I would go to the Asian countries. Our cities feel 100 times smaller than the European ones. When I have travelled overseas, I actually realize what people mean about Aussie's being friendly. No, not everyone is happy happy, but they are more likely to have a chat, and help you out. I know that European cities are so huge so everyone just does their own thing and doesn't care for anyone else. I read on this site, a Londoner saying that we (AUS), and another country were TOO friendly and he felt that it was invading his privacy- it was in a store, a lot of our storespeople like to have a good old yack with smalltalk. Anyway, Australia has the good laid back summer lifestyle. I would recommend going to Sydney (has bondi beach, its more commerical and has all the perfect tanned girls and boys, life savers etc.), Melbourne (it has the Australian football League, it is more arty, has more culture, cute little alleyways and laneways, bars, gigs, etc.) up the Gold Coast where all the beaches are- whitsundays, great barrier reef, all the theme parks, surfers paradise (which I think is overrated but it's where you would go to party I suppose), and the red centre (uluru, etc.) so get a real feel of the life there. When I go to europe I also feel how much safer it is back here. Not that mugging etc. doesn't happen, but its rare. People on the train in Melbourne basically put their bag beside them and fall asleep, its a common occurrence every day. I think I've been going on a bit so I hope I helped anyway.
