    Flying will always looks dangerous, actually it is not. Flying got a very low percentages of accident to be compare by car, train, ship. There is nothing to worried about, NY to London is a very long flight and the busiest route. if you are flying with boeing, i'm pretty sure they are usin 777 type and above. if you are using airbus, they might use A340 above. It must be a very big aircraft. The worst part of flying is taking off, and landing. both of them is crucial moment for the flight. as I told you percentages of plane crashing is very very low. so don't worry about it. Relax and Enjoy the flight!!

You do not say what airline you are using, but there has not been any fatality on a US based airline for close to 4 years. There has not been a crash on any trans-Atlantic flight for many, many years - I don't recall the last one, in fact. Thousands of flights occur every day. How many crashes do you hear about? The odds of a crash are gosh darn close to 0. Odds of survival from any kind of aviation accident are very hard to predict - there are far too many variables involved. Many people do survive crashes, however.

The chances of a crash are so small that you can forget about it. Airliners are subjected to stringent servicing schedules and maintenance. You have a much higher chance of dying in a crash on the way to the airport. The chances of surviving a crash in the middle of the Atlantic are zero.

There are probably twenty planes a day that make that trip and I don't recall any deaths with that service. Your chance of being killed on the way to the airport is higher.
