Why don't the pictures show in the emails I receive?

When I receive emails, why do some pictures show up as white boxes? How can I see the pics?

  • When I right-click on the box and click "show picture" nothing happens.

    I am "presumming" you are using outlook, outlook express or or Windows Live mail. In Outlook 2003 you can go to the main inbox screen and NOT a message window. Select Tools/Options/Security tab/ 3rd section down is Download pictues. Push button to change the default settings. Outlook Express 6 is a very similar path... tools/options/security tab/uncheck box under "download images" heading ...Block images and other extenal content in HTML email. In Windows Live Go to tools/email safety options/security tab/under "download images" heading ...Block images and other extenal content in HTML email. IM me or email me if you are using a different email client than the 3 I have listed.

u can c it ,just click (show images) its abouve the e-mail

Yahoo has decided to block all pictures. Above the e-mail it has buttons like delete, print, reply, etc. One of the buttons says Show Images. Click that, and the pictures will show up.
