    Go to your yahoo home, click inbox, click Tools -> Options -> Main -> and there should be a button that says "Use current page." Click it and it should set your inbox as your home.

Go to your control panel in the control pannel go to internet options in the internet options on your address window tipe in what you want to be your home page apply then ok .

You see the little picture directly left of the URL (In this case, http://answers.yahoo.com/)? Go to the log-in page of your e-mail inbox, click and hold the little picture with your mouse and drag the icon onto the 'Home' button (looks like a little house) on your tool bar and release; it will ask "Would you like to set your home page to 'Yahoo! Mail'?"; select yes. To get something like an e-mail inbox as a home page, you'll need to set the login page as the homepage and then configure it to automatically sign in. I don't use Yahoo! mail, so I can't really help you there.

unfortunately it may not allow you to go direct into your yahoo account on start up for security reasons. you can set the yahoo mail page as your homepage and have it remember your password. or you can try setting internet to never delete cookies and after you log in once it might work.
