How to export CSV file with specific name?

When I export contacts to csv, the csv file is unusable in Outlook or Excel. Is there a fix?

Excel says the file is not complete and may have more than 1M lines or columns. There should be 600+ items. I have tried both the Outlook format and the Yahoo format of the csv with ...show more

I also faced this problem. I have exported my contacts to Outlook, and it didn't supported. Then I exported it to Thunderbird and from there I converted my MBOX file used by Thunderbird to Outlook. After that things were good for me. You can also give a try to this method.

There is an iPhone app called MC Backup that does the trick. You can specify you want to export in csv format or not. It solved my issue of moving my address book from Yahoo and iPhone to gmail.
