How do I block people from accessing my yahoo address book to forward their spam to my contacts?

I keep receiving junk emails from people I don't know and now they are using my email address to forward their spam to all my contacts. How do I stop them from doing this and also ...show more

Jes may be right, OR your address is being used by a spammer. If you sent a "mass" mailing using To: or Cc:, YOU gave your (and _your_ contacts) away. If the latter is the case, shame on you. The damage is done. You can alert your friends to set up Filters. The thing is, the spammer can send mail as anyone in in your list. You can set up Y! Address Guard disposable add(s) and send from it/them - Bcc: for FWDs.
