Why can't i send jpeg attachments in email?

I found two methods that solved the problem for me when I was not able to attach files to Yahoo! Mail. The first solution was to use a different web browser instead of Internet Explorer to get to Yahoo! Mail. If I go through Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer to get to Yahoo! Mail then I am able to attach files in Yahoo! Mail. The second solution was to change a setting in Internet Explorer. On the upper right of the screen, click: Tools From the menu that appears, click: Compatibility View settings From the window that appears, click in the box to set a check mark next to: Display all websites in Compatibility View To save and close this setting, click: Close After I send the email I go back and remove the check mark because if I don't, it messes up other things. I only use this setting to send attachments in Yahoo! Mail. Both of these methods worked for me.
