Not to sure,but mine get deleted when i delete the mail they came in.Those picture's and attachment's are part of a email you received.That easy access area is just to help you find your photo's and attachment's easy without opening all your mail to find them.Don't want them delete the mail they came in.

I will give you instructions on how to delete photos in your 'Search Shortcuts: - My Photos/My Attachments' folders, but these photos and attachments are within messages you have in your email box and you cannot delete them individually. When you delete the message containing the photos and attachments, you will delete ALL of the photos and attachments within the message. If you wish to save any of the photos, you could save the messages containing the photos in personal folders that you create. Those photos will remain in your 'Search Shortcuts:' as long as the original message is in your email box. Or you could upload the photos you wish to keep to 'Yahoo! Photos'. ---------- Yahoo! Mail Search Shortcuts: My Photos/My Attachments How to delete a photo or file in the Photo View or Attachment View: If you would like to delete a photo or file from the Photo View or Attachment View, it is necessary to delete the original message that contains the file attachment. After deleting a message, the message is moved into the Trash folder, where it is automatically removed at a later point in time. * From the Photo View: Click on the Subject link located directly below the photo thumbnail. go inside the folder then press delete located near the enter button or if you want to complete delete them (meaning total eradication) press SHIFT and DEL while selecting the specific file you want to delete!! easy right?
