How do I save an email as a draft with my new yahoo account? When I click on save as draft, it does not happen?

Sometimes the new Yahoo Mail will offer to save a draft after you click the X and other times it won't and you lose all your work. I had a critical business document that I had to reply to and wasn't ready to send and I lost over an hour's work. Even though I saw it auto-save, once I X'd it out, the entire draft disappeared. Yahoo keeps trying to improve its business -- why don't they just go back to the Yahoo of 2000 (customizable home page; customizable news sources; customizable weather; customizable stocks; customizable airfares; a wonderful classic e-mail that NOBODY wanted to lose; lots of existing and user-created chat rooms; etc., etc., etc.) instead of chasing us away with their "improvements?" And, Yahoo, next time you force a universal change on all of us, update your Help sections first, so we aren't reading instructions from previous versions of your offerings while we flail around trying to figure out how to send a simple message.

I agree. Yahoo is trying to out-google google, not understanding that those of us who still useYahoo desire to get away from BigoogleBrother. In new yahoo, your email should auto save as a draft - check your draft folder. I do not trust it, so I always copy the email then close and check .

. ACTUALLY, IT DOES SAVE A DRAFT, BUT IT DOESN'T "CLICK" LIKE THE OLD YM DID, SO AT FIRST IT SEEMS LIKE IT DIDN'T SAVE. .
