Why can't I open attachments in Yahoo Mail?

I cant open attachments in my yahoo mail.?

  • When I click on pdf it gets scanned by Norton Anti Virus and then I click continue, but from that point it will not bring up the bar to let me open or save the attachment. Please help.

    A very small number of our customers are experiencing a temporary inability to download attachments, because they are not prompted for a download destination when downloading attachments. Our engineering team is investigating this issue, and we are doing our best to have a resolution in place as soon as possible. Although there is no current work-around for this issue, we assure you it is a high priority, and should not remain in effect much longer. We apologize for this inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. (Despite the link given in a previous answer, this issue is unrelated to the matter from back in March)

Mine started when Adobe Flash Player updated today, now I can't download attachments with any browser on any computer (we have one desktop and two laptops in the house). I've followed all the suggestions, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash and nothing. I'm getting really frustrated with Yahoo's lack of response and no way of contacting anyone that can/will help. Some of us have work that requires opening the bloody attachments and this is really not helping.
