First time email-er what does cc mean and when you send a email does what you emailed come back to your in box?

CC means Carbon Copied...a copy of the email that you send will also be sent to whomever you put in the CC line. The original address you are sending to will be able to see anyone you carbon copied in. You can also send a BCC, which is a blind carbon copy. the difference with this is the original address who you are sending to will not see who else received a copy.

cc is carbon copy. It is used a lot on business, for instance if I am emailing my supervisor but, i also want someone else in the company to be appraised in the matter then I may cc them as well. bcc is blind carbon copy, so for instance, if I were writing something sensitive and maybe I want legal counsel to have it as well, I might bcc them so that the original person doesn't know that I sent it to them as well. Most casual email doesn't really use those. Also keep in mind that anything you write in email could be used in court so, don't email anything that you would be ashamed for everyone to know.

cc means carbon copy. it send that exact email to whoever you put under cc as well as the recipient. bcc is blind carbon copy. that's where you can send it to more people but no one can see who all you sent it to, where as with cc they can. if an email comes back to your inbox with an error message then it didn't go thru. there is no real way to tell wether they got the email or not until they reply or you ask them.
