Yahoo mail spam issue?

Can anyone help me fix a possibile spyware issue? I am getting spam from my own yahoo e-mail address?

    there are two excellent programs that will clean your computer right up, each are free. I had much more serious issues than that and this cleaned everything up! CCleaner.com and SUPERAntispyware Free edition I also use Ad-Aware SE personal (free) and AVG Anti-spyware (free) once you download one of them: reboot then download the other:then reboot start w/cleaning up your internet w/the tools option reboot AVG clean up reboot CCleaner reboot Super Antispyware Reboot it is important you reboot after each transaction has taken place... once your computer has been all cleaned up I would then defrag, even if it states not necessary..mine as well clean everything up while you're at it! these software programs are awesome!! I had so many problems and the programs I had just were not cleaning everything... these should help you!! Good luck! If you still wind up having the same problem after you complete the clean up, i would call the manufacturer of your computer after dealing with your isp.

that is not spyware, its spam. Spyware is software that takes up memory on your system and spies on your browsing habits and then sends you advertisement to solicit to you. Spam is unwanted email just a company that has you in a database and will not stop emailing you. Similar to the AIDS virus spam is getting smarter, now almost impossible to get rid of since the email address are not dynamic as a baby's birth.

every time i go on ythe yahoo mail page, spybot screams at me its a compoany called mediaplex that tries to access your inbox - i think thats a little unfair of yahoo - spybot kills it though so im ok

If it is SpyWare, SpyBot Search and Destroy is a good program to use to destroy those little problems. Find it for free at download.com. Its search will show you if you have spyware anywhere on your computer or not.

spware AND virus - you need a firewall too. try macafee or symantec's norton 360 for spyware, antivirus, firewall all in one.
