You probably have yahoo lol. Switch to Gmail, it's much more secure. Failing that change your password and your background info. Change your zip code and town and anything else they will let you change. You might also consider just closing the account altogether, given that it's already been breached once. AND think about this: You are only seeing the messages they allow you to see. What about the ones that they sent but deleted from your sent folder before you ever saw it? At the very least change your password. It's not so much a virus issue as it is a security issue with your email provider. I don't really see how sending it to a 'computer hospital' is going to help. If your worried that you have a virus then just change your yahoo info on a different computer. That way, if you do have a virus on your own computer and it's sophisticated enough to be logging your key strokes (your new password) then it won't be able to see what you changed it to. I really don't think this is a virus issue. Someone just got lucky guessing your probably too weak password OR they knew enough about you to guess your security answers and sold your password and info to this "Chinese company". Happens all the time.

Most of the time the spammers get access using phishing spam. If you got an email from "Yahoo" telling you there is a problem with your account, enter your password, it was not really from Yahoo. When you change your password you also want to look at the Contact Information. You should find a Yahoo! Email that agrees with your account name. You may find a Home Email. This is an alternate contact address for Yahoo. There should not be one unless you entered one. If you find an unfamiliar one it could have been entered by the spammers. If they have inserted an address under their control as the home email, they can report a "forgotten" password and collect the new password at that address.

Sounds like you picked up a virus. Immediately have your computer checked for a 'bug' or 'bugs.' Once it is clean of pests, install a firewall and an anti-virus program if you do not have one yet. I strongly recommend a program for malware and adware also. After you finish this, then go in and change your password, using a good strong one. Then, you need to inform all of your contacts that the E-mails were not from you, but a virus, and that they also need to check their computers for infection.

Get a good anti-virus program and disinfect your computer. You are the one sending the messages.
