I removed my email capability almost a year ago. The reason is because some people who ask or answer here get a little abnoxious, and then send nasty emails. Not everyone, and I'm sure you are not like that at all. I just don't need to crowd my important emails with stuff that won't do anything to make me feel good. And you know what boosts my ego...right? It's those "You've just received Best Answer" messages. Those I really love to receive. See, I need to keep my head straight and can't have anything in my life that brings me down. So, if someone really needed to send me an important message, they can do it through an answer. Otherwise, I treat emails the same as phone calls on my land line phone. I rarely answer them because it's always someone wanting to sell me something I don't need, or a trap, or a phony donation scheme. Don't get me wrong, i do donate a lot to charity. I scrutinize charities very carefully before I decide to donate.

Your guess is as good as mine. This is History writer, undercover. I don't accept E-mails, because some of the people here are crazy! Try Gender and Women's issues. Maybe not, it can get quite graphic. People are very busy now! I'm sure it's all right. Take Care and Happy New Year S.H.

I have sent some messages out with no response - later discovered that the people I sent to only check their email every now and then. Sometimes my messages get caught up in a spam filter especially if I send to several at the same time.

Speaking for myself only.... I do not use messaging because I have such limited time to apply to "answers". Those who take the trouble of checking my 360 find my email address, and I do attempt to answer those... although at times the volume is just too great to do that. My apologies for those times. Peace

I only had one person who emailed me and I emailed back 2 days ago..I assume it is working but truthfully I rarely send emails nor do I receive many - via my profile - . But If you did write to me recently : then I did not receive...not lying.

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. If you look you will find lots of people cannot send/receive/delete mail at the moment. I was advised to uninstall Javascript and then reinstall the latest version. This worked for me. If it does not for you then apparently it's only in the all new version. Try returning to the Classic version for now. I am also told that the mail is in fact there in your box and is being sent. It's simply invisible in all new mail. Good luck use this link to get back http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no

Oops

anyone can email anyone on yahoo answers. however, yahoo answers only auto-emails your questions to people on your friends list. like whenever you post a question, i get an email from yahoo answers showing you asked a question.
