Whats the best thing to do if yahoo profile is hacked?

  • Got an e-mail from yahoo saying may have been hacked. I changed my password, yet Family member are still getting e-mails that are said to be from me, for junk adds, etc.

    Once someone has your contact list they no longer need your account to send emails that look like they came from you. There is not much you can do other than changing your password. Well this is better resolved with a good antivirus, preferably one with Anti-Spam and Firewall. You should download a free one temporarily to get rid of the hacker and then get the paid version if you like it. I personally like and have AVG paid editon, but the free edition is good too.
