How does one cancel a free yahoo email address?

  • I have several free yahoo email addresses. I want to cancel one of them. I've tried the link below to cancel a specific one, but only my "main" free yahoo email address ...show more

    Friend had trouble cancelling email account; however, on advise of others she did not touch the account in anyway for 4 months and it automatically cancelled. Prior to not using she send email blast to everyone she wanted to stay in contact with advising them to use an alternate address. Seemed the easiest way.

i don't know how to do it but i got tha same problem!!!!!!! i asked yahoo to change my security question and they did, and now I can't log in any more!!!!!!!!!!!

You will need to sign into the accounts you want deleted and then follow the link.

Well once you stop signing in after a month or two, I believe they cancel your account! They did it to mine!!
