  • Answer:

You cannot PERMANENTLY set it up that way unless in the Basic format of the New format NEW FORMAT You can TEMPORARILY switch the email display from Newest to Oldest by clicking on SORT BY DATE and then DATE in the drop down menu. This will bring the old emails to the top and the newest will be on the bottom...When you reopen your account the Newest emails will be back on top. If you want to bring back the newest to the top before reopening your account click on SORT BY DATE again...then DATE in the drop down menu. http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont%E2%80%A6 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++... BASIC FORMAT of the New Formt Click on the ARROW on the right side of the box with DESCENDING ORDER to bring up ASCENDING ORDER...then click on APPLY to reverse the order from Newest to Oldest... reverse it to go back. In this format you will have 25 or 50 emails per page and if you have more than that you will see page numbers in the upper right corner just above the emails. I have more than one email account and one has 25 per page....the other has 50...I do not know why it is different. From what I can see changing from the newest to the oldest on top is permanent.
