Why I can receive email, but I cant send out email?

Depends on the email service / program your using. If I had to wager a guess, I'd say your using outlook (or a similar program) to access your email. If thats the case the first thing you'll want to check is to make sure your outgoing mail is set to use your username/password to send your mail as many email servers require this to prevent spammers from sending emails using your account. Go into your account settings (which if your using outlook is under the tools menu) Select your account and click the edit/change button (outlook) click the more settings (outlook) outgoing server tab (outlook) Check the "My outgoing server requires authintication box" Select the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" (unless you know they are different) Click "OK" or save If that doesn't work, check your outgoing mail server to make sure its correct, if your using a pop account it will be different from your Incoming mail server and finally if its still not sending then it has to do with your servers port Go into your account settings (which if your using outlook is under the tools menu) Select your account and click the edit/change button (outlook) click the more settings (outlook) Select the advanced tab (outlook) set your outgoing server to the correct port for your mail server. You may have to contact your service provider, but you can try some basic ones first like 80, 25, ect to see if any of those help you.
